Nobel Self-Sacrifice

August 29th, 2010 by terihabsfan.

Im not standing here

I’m dancing all around

But sometimes I look back

And wonder if I was wrong

And if I asked you

I know you wouldn’t even respond

You never wanted to influence

Me deciding where I belonged.

So I’m moving on now

Cause you wanted it that way

But I hope you know

I may never feel the same way

And I have to tell you

The things we never wanted to say

If you had even frowned

I would never have gone away.

So now I’m still wondering

Was this how you wanted it to go

Or were you just being the martyr again

I wish there was some way to know

The most selfless soul

And I’m still crazy about you that way

But you will always do what’s right

Even if happiness is thrown away.

Superb piece of writing..loved the melancholic tone..it very beautifully expressed the emotions the words wanted to convey ..keep writing !!

these lines took my heart away…who decides what’s right n what’s wrong?…don’t we complicate life too much?
