Fragments and Umbrellas

metrical umbrellas bobbing
here be fragments, broken
shard genies parading un-sprite-like
to a belt and necktie count clean shoes
arid in the rain anarchy of mud
and shallow puddles
each fragment under the rain spitting
into the lawlessness of the deluge
a confused and murky plash

being in motion surging
weather and we among rain
bobbing bubble rhythms flow
and ebb alive in seascape sound
neural-load stamen bursting flight
wave-on-wave-on children of daylight
son and seamless umbrella rain mass
splish splash splish-splash
concert to the deluge
whole and one

I reflect in high definition
as I contemplate (I see?)
pixels fronting an enigma
spot conscious of isolation
mindful of the web
Bobbing, bobbing umbrellas
